This role combines technical expertise with client-facing leadership to ensure scalable, automated, and impactful implementations. The Director will oversee agile delivery, manage technical project workflows, and act as a critical bridge between clients and engineering. Working closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations, this leader will drive solutions that accelerate client time-to-value and support Darwin’s growth across global markets.Key Responsibilities
- Define, review, and scope
- Statements of Work (SOWs) for technical feasibility and alignment with platform capabilities.
- Translate client requirements into technical specifications and backlog items for engineering teams.
- Lead solution design sessions with clients and internal teams to ensure scalability and maintainability.
- Oversee integrations with Darwin APIs, webhooks, and payment solutions.
- Manage agile delivery progress using metrics such as velocity, burndown, and defect rates.
- Drive standardization, automation, and regional scalability of professional services processes.
- Provide leadership on sprint priorities across Development, QA, and Operations.
- Support pre-sales engagements with technical scoping, solution architecture, and integration recommendations.
Other Responsibilities
- Monitor and report on project health (budget, timelines, quality).
- Partner with Product Management to share client-driven insights for roadmap development.
- Utilize Jira, Confluence, and capacity planning tools to manage delivery.
- Define best practices for onboarding, migrations, and integrations across markets.
- Support scalability and consistency across NA & UK delivery teams.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Mentor, coach, and guide team members.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, IT, or related field.
- Leadership experience in professional services, technical delivery, or SaaS implementations.
- Strong knowledge of APIs, webhooks, integrations, and data migration.
- Proven ability to translate client needs into technical requirements.
- Expertise in client-facing technical project management (scoping, risk, issue resolution).
- Track record of delivering complex solutions on time and within budget.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and customer-facing projects.
- SaaS experience in multi-region/global delivery strongly preferred.
